#16 Rainbow Shoulder DromDrom

This Rainbow DromDrom is the first shoulder bag I have made.
Its made from a pair of  XL corduroy jeans.
I really enjoyed the construction process.
There will definitely be more shoulder bags coming out.

I made this DromDrom for my dear friend, Emily.
She wanted a bag that would be easy to wear while she bikes.
It is super comfy and is more compact than the other DromDroms.

#15 Cloud DromDrom

(sorry about the bottle...just trying to add some juxtaposition)

I made this Cloud DromDrom out of a pair of light denim pants.
The floral fabric is actually a couple dinner napkins.
I have recently been on a lot of airplanes,
and the patterns the land makes are incredible.
I also love being on the same level as the clouds.
They are pretty fascinating when you get to see them that close up.

Baby Silas DromDrom # 14

A close family friend is now a grandmother.
A beautiful little boy has entered the world
And he already has his very own DromDrom.
I made this bag to hold his diapers and bottles.
Grandma likes it so much, she wants another!

DromDrom # 13 Hungry Dinosaur

yumm

Hungry Dinosaur, the thirteenth DromDrom.
I used the same technique that I used with the bike bag to create the dinosaur.
Just drew him out and outlined my lines with my machine.
This bag is now in Wisconsin
Riding on the back of my dear friend, Taylor.

This bag is special because its the first bag that I tagged!!
I sew my own tags.
Takes a little while, but its worth it.

#12 Teal Panda DromDrom

This is the bottom of the DromDrom
I like adding little details here and there.

This teal panda DromDrom is twelfth in line
(I have never spelt out "twelfth" before.  That was weird)
It used to be an adorable teal skirt that didn't fit me.
It was hard to cut it up, but it was worth it in the end.

I went to an awesome estate sale and got so many new vintage fabrics.
Finding new fabrics is like striking gold.
There are going to be some prettty cool DromDroms coming out real soon...

#11 Lauren DromDrom

This DromDrom is one of my favorites.
It has my favorite colors in it.
I made it for a friend, named Lauren.
And I hear she wears it everywhere she goes.
That makes me very happy.
This bag is made from a jean skirt
and a pair of slacks.

Around the time I made Lauren's DromDrom,
I was trying to decide on a name for my bags.
I had recently gotten back from Europe and Morocco,
Where I had the pleasure of riding a dromedary.

As you can see,
I really enjoyed that experience.
When deciding on a name, I was trying to think simplistically:
What do you look like when you wear one of my bags...
I thought to myself.
Bingo.

drom·e·dar·y

[drom-i-der-ee, druhm-]
noun, plural -dar·ies.
the single-humped camel, Camelus dromedarius,  of Arabia and northern Africa.

Bow DromDrom #10

Little Bow DromDrom is bag number ten.
This is made from floral corduroy
and a velvet fabric, used in the lining, that was a gift to me from my dad.
I was very excited with the turnout of this bag.
I would call it sassy.

#9: The Station wagon in Spain

The ninth DromDrom I made for my little sister.
Since the first DromDrom I made her was the guinea pig design,
I decided to make her another.
It was a gift to her before she set sail to Spain.
She has a thing for old station wagons.
Inside the bag I put this book:

(sorry its backwards)
And the funny thing is, I bought this book a long time ago,
before I ever knew that Zoe was going to be traveling to spain.
And I forgot I had it until after I made the bag.
It was meant to be.

#8 Bike DromDrom

The eighth DromDrom.
A bike bag for my beautiful mama.
The bike is sewn into the flap.
I made this bag a little bit bigger than the rest
with a few extra pockets.

Tree DromDrom #7

Tie-Dye Tree DomDrom,
Bag number seven.
An earthy delight.
Once again, I made this bag from a pair of corduroy  pants
and an Amsterdam clasp!

Mack DromDrom: #6

I went to Europe at the beginning of the summer,
and bought the clasp that I used in this bag
from a little shop in Amsterdam.
I used a pair of yellow corduroy pants and a gray skirt
 to make this Southwestern/European DromDrom.

#5: Sheep DromDrom!

Here is the fifth DromDrom in line.
A miniature one.
This bag is only 12 inches long.
Perfect for a little one.
I used a corduroy shirt as the floral pattern,
and a red dress with hearts as the lining.
I embroidered a little sheep on the flap as the finishing touch.

Third Bag! Green DromDrom

DromDrom number three.
This bag was bought by a boy for his girl.
I discovered my adoration for simple geometric shapes when I made this bag.
I also love corduroy.
This was before I used foam in the back and straps of the dromdroms.
Floppy bags.
